Welcome to The Kyneton Hotel. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

GENERAL

Food Allergies

The Kyneton Hotel is a nut-free kitchen.  

While we take extreme caution to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with specific allergies. Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, or wheat.  

Pets

We take delight in welcoming your canine companions to our beer garden. Nonetheless, we kindly ask that, for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, dogs are kept on a leash and under supervision throughout their stay. We also appreciate your cooperation in promptly cleaning up after them to maintain a pleasant environment for everyone. 

While we love furry friends, we do not allow them to stay at The Kyneton Hotel. Assistance or service animals are permitted with valid documentation. 

Smoking, Vaping & e-Cigarettes

In accordance with Victorian Government laws, smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes & vaping) is prohibited inside the hotel premises, including all indoor spaces such as rooms, restaurants, bars, and outdoor eating areas.  

We have designated outdoor areas where smoking is permitted. Failure to comply with the Victorian Government's smoking laws can result in significant penalties, both for individuals and businesses. To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we request your cooperation in following the designated smoking areas and respecting the no-smoking zones. 

Dress Code / Standard

All guests are asked to adhere to neat casual dress. Shoes must be worn at all times (children included). 

Responsible Service of Alcohol

The Kyneton Hotel reserve the right to refuse service and/or entry to anyone exhibiting intoxicated or inappropriate behaviour. The Kyneton Hotel does not tolerate discriminative, aggressive or violent behaviour to either person or property and we maintain the right to ask guests to leave. Failure to leave may result in Police intervention. 

Minors

All minors are required, by law, to be accompanied by a parent or guardian & under direct supervision at all times. Under no circumstances are minors to be supplied alcohol and anyone seen to be doing so will be asked to leave the venue immediately. 

Food & Beverage / Cakeage

Outside food & beverages are NOT permitted in The Kyneton Hotel with the exception of pre-arranged celebration cake or dessert. Cakeage costs are listed below. 

$3pp, cutlery & crockery supplied by us, party to cut & serve. 

$5pp, cutlery & crockery supplied by us, we portion & serve. 

$8pp, portioned & served by us with a side of cream. 

ACCOMMODATION

Rates and Charges

All rates provided are in Australian dollars and may be subject to change without prior notice. All rates include GST where applicable. Please note that any verbal quotes are only estimates and the final price will be confirmed in writing upon booking confirmation. For certain rates during special event or holiday periods, there may be minimum length of stay restrictions. To secure your accommodation and guarantee the price, we require a deposit or a valid credit card at the time of booking. 

A non-refundable deposit of 15% is required at the time of booking and will be charged to a valid credit card.  The remaining 85% booking fee will be charged to the valid credit card 48 hours prior to the arrival date of the guests. If The Kyneton Hotel is unable to charge the nominated credit card for the outstanding 85% room booking fee for any reason including funds not being available, your deposit will be forfeited, and the room made available for other guests to book. 

Number of Guests

The maximum number of guests per room is stated at time of booking, exceeding this number is not permitted without prior approval from management. If you require additional beds beyond the number initially booked, an extra charge will apply. 

Please note that surpassing the maximum occupancy limit of the property will be considered as trespassing, and such individuals will be subject to eviction. We kindly request your cooperation in maintaining the agreed-upon occupancy to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all our guests. 

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in time is 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and the room is to be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. An additional fee may be charged if you do not check out by 10.00 am. Early check-in and late check-out are offered at the discretion of Management and must be requested at the time of booking. 

Pets

Pets are not permitted to stay at the hotel, with the exception of registered service animals with valid documentation. 

Parking

The Kyneton Hotel does not have private parking facilities. A free, all-day car park is located approximately 100m from the hotel at 14 Market Street. On-street car parking is available at the hotel subject to availability & time restrictions. 

Behaviour

Guests are expected to respect other guests and staff, maintaining a peaceful and courteous atmosphere in both the accommodation & hotel facilities. Any behaviour that disrupts the comfort or safety of others may result in eviction without refund.  

We strictly prohibit parties or gatherings on our premises unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Any disturbance caused to fellow guests or neighbours, including excessive noise or music, will not be tolerated. In the event of a noise complaint, a first warning will be issued. However, if a second complaint is received, immediate eviction without refund will be enforced. 

At the Kyneton Hotel, we prioritise the safety and comfort of all our guests. Therefore, we reserve the right to take necessary actions in response to behaviour that poses a threat to others or the property. 

Breakages and Damages

Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the room or property during their stay. 

Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full, from the guest’s credit card.  

Excess cleaning required on departure may be charged to the guest’s credit card.  

Personal Belongings

The establishment will not be held liable for any loss or damage to guests' personal belongings or vehicles. 

Loss of Keys

Loss of room keys will incur a $100 replacement charge. 

After hours access

Guests wishing to check in afterhours must contact the hotel directly at least 24 hours prior to check in date to arrange alternative arrangements.
